Transportation

The Transportation Committee is looking for members!

Transportation issues continue to be a major barrier for individuals to live, work and participate in community activities. This committee will identify local transportation needs, collect data and match up local options. The committee will also work toward developing transportation strategies using public transportation and natural supports. The group will also identify and lobby for better funding to ensure public transportation options are available ( i.e. expanded metro routes, Para Transit services and dedicated funding) to meet the needs of individuals who reside independently in the community.

GOALS:

To provide a comprehensive transportation list

To coordinate a yearly vendor fair to highlight need of transportation and give venue for individuals to voice concerns/needs to vendors at the event.
